Twin Oaks Farm is a breeding establishment founded by April Oakes in 2002. Located on 80 acres in beautiful historic Madison, Georgia. I breed top quality Champion Bloodline, AKC registered show quality "German" Rottweiler's, Chihuahua's & Yorkshire Terrier's. As a dedicated breeder, I am in good standing with the American Kennel Club and breed along their guidlines in the AKC Rules and Regulations. I strive to maintain the integrity and quality of the breeds. My #1 concern above all is a healthy puppy. I look at each of of my "females" and try to match them with the most suitable sire to produce the healthiest and " true to standard" puppy as I possibly can. I 'm always striving to improve the bloodline of each breed. From time to time I get inspected by AKC and have been advised I'm in the top 5% of breeders in the s.e. region.
I have purchased a building that has been totally finished inside & out with central heat & air to house my mothers and their puppies. All my dogs are under my watchful eye and constant attention. My kids are grown and I left the corprate world to pursue my passion & love for dogs. My MawMaw jokingly said, " I've gone to the dogs..."
I love all types of animals.When you come to my farm you will see my horses, goats, ducks, & rooster. This is all I do 7 days a week 365 days a year. MY life is never without some sort of excitement or something to do!!!
